Looking to hire me? Voice over rates in Australia can vary depending on the scope of your project and how the audio will be used. To confirm an accurate rate, I’ll need a brief overview of your project and its intended usage.

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change, including applicable session minimums (basic session fees). Quotes can also be provided in your local currency upon request.
Video Game & Animation
$275 per session hour
- Per word/line quotes available.
- Vocally stressful sessions at double rate, max 2 hour session per day.
This includes two recorded takes per line, clean up edit (no processing), WAV or MP3 file splitting, correct file labelling, applicable taxes. For directed sessions, the rate is $250 per session hour with a 2 hour minimum.
For games requiring more than 3 character voices, the rate will be $300 per session hour, per game (1 hour min).
- $75 per additional voice. Vocally stressful sessions limited to 2-hrs.
Dubbing & ADR
Credited Roles - $175 per hour (1 hour minimum)
Uncredited Roles - $120 per hour (1 hour minimum)
- Minimum 2 hour call with live directed session.
Audiodrama
$150 per hour (1 hour minimum)
($0.35 per word *150 words minimum , $3 per line)
Audiobook Narration
$250 PFH - per finished hour (raw punch & roll)
$450 PFH (fully produced)
The client must ensure:
A pronunciation guide is provided where needed. A prep fee is provided where applicable. An additional $100 preparation fee is provided per narrator if there are two or more narrators on an audiobook. Character loadings and royalties are subject to negotiation.
A ‘Standard pick-up package’ is also to be provided when necessary. This includes: An explanation document, including pronunciation amendment guide where needed. A marked script with highlighted lines for correction. Sample recordings for re-recording and voice matching where needed.

- Multi-Platform bundle deal must be agreed at the time of booking. Cinema and Single DOOH are excluded from these bundles.

- Audio Streaming Platforms may include Spotify, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, LiSTNR, podcast platforms and networks, other podcast and streaming services, digital audio advertising platforms.
- For commercials exceeding 60 seconds, an additional 25% of the applicable 60-second rate is charged for each additional 30 seconds, or any portion of 30 seconds.
- For a fully produced commercial: +250% of the applicable voice over fee. This includes standard editing, mixing, basic music and sound effects, mastering and delivery of a broadcast-ready audio file.

Trailer/Promo
Voice over for film, television, streaming, gaming and promotional trailers.
National (Australia) - From $400 up to 3 months, 1 hour session
Worldwide (Global) - From $800 up to 3 months, 1 hour session
Rates are based on a standard 30–60 second trailer or promotional spot.
- 4-6 months = +50%
- 7-12 months = +100%

Overseas Use
When Visual or Audio Commercials are used in the following regions, the total Australian fee will be multiplied by the following rates:
NZ, Singapore, Hong Kong = 100% each
Asia-Pacific = 200%
UK = 300%
US = 500%
Europe = 300%
Global = 600%
Pick-Ups & Revisions
Typically 50% base rate for script revisions per session.
I offer one consolidated round of pickups covering up to 10% of the originally recorded lines to accommodate new direction notes or actor errors, within 6 months of receiving the original recorded lines. A pronunciation list will be required prior to recording for any difficult-to-pronounce ore uncommon words, names, places, character names, or other specific terminology in the script.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Audio Editing & Post Production
Editing, proofing, mastering, file splits etc.
- $45 per hour
Mixing, music, sound design etc.
- $90 per hour.
Production Support Services
Project management, casting support, voice over directing, copy editing etc.
- $45 per hour
Concessions may apply for internal use (developmental or scratch recordings) and select projects. Also Hybrid Agreements or Deferred Payment can be arranged for micro-budget projects.

Per line rates are available for indie productions, which are provided in good faith. A surcharge may be applied to the per-line rate for longer passages or monologues.
